Woodberry Down is an innovative Regeneration Project developed by Berkeley Group in North London’s Finsbury Park. This unique 64-acre site is a flourishing family friendly community with an abundance of amenities, featuring a spectacular collection of townhouses and apartments, 42 acres of open water and 15 acres of landscaped parkland. Once complete, this award-winning development will feature 5,500 new homes, just a short distance from Central London and the City.
PROJECT TASKS AND CHALLENGES
The scope of work included all decoration works associated with one of the blocks in Phase 2 of Woodberry Down, including 275 apartments, communal areas, back of house and concierge.
Dulux paint was used throughout for the walls, ceilings and woodwork, along with non-slip floor finishes to select rooms and masonry paint to block work and concrete elements to provide protection and give a durable long-lasting finish.
Cousins worked closely with Berkeley Group throughout the project to overcome any obstacles that may have risen and despite the challenges presented by Covid-19, progress remained consistent.
PROJECT RESULTS
Cousins have built a strong relationship with Berkeley Group since 2018 and have subsequently had the pleasure of working on a number of exciting projects. The decoration works at Woodberry Down are consistent with the high standards of design and quality that Berkeley are renowned for.
